As for the prop I agree totally. We've needed a big no nonsense prop for a couple of seasons now and this off season is a huge chance to get one. There are a couple of guys coming off contract in the NRL like Luke Bailey and Josh Perry that could be tempted over here. Another prop I noticed was coming off contract is Michael Weyman from St George who is a huge bloke. He'd be a real long shot because he's pretty young and broke into the NSW side last season but you never know.

I'm sure Maguire will have his eyes on a couple anyway.

Some Saints fans reckon he's on his way there, but things may not work out like that..............

i still believe my source from when i first posted the brough rumour on tuesday that danny brough will go to hull kr. Hes a wakey fan and he was absolutely gutted and the way he was acting certainly didn't make me think it was anything else than genuine. ( he wasn't too impressed about signing cooke either ) i just wish id of had time to quiz him a bit more of when it was going to happen. Im putting my bet on next season but time will tell. cetainly dont think its anyone we should even consider signing but that is just my opinion.

Looks like Paul Cooke is on his way to Wakefield so you never know.

As far as I know Saints joined the race for him shortly after us.

Agreed, but who knows where he will end up, he will not be short of offers.

Saints in my opinion are in the driving seat IF Graham decides to go to the NRL as reported, they will be willing to pay more for a proven leader and pack man than most I would expect.

Brough will be a massive disruption at the club and the teddy will come out on more than one occassion when hes not getting the headlines and some of his team mates are. We are gelling really well as a team and i think it would be a big risk bringing someone like brough in. With the rumours Kear is nailed on for the England job wouldn't be suprised to see him leave sooner rather than later as the info i was given was brough for cooke but with brough ooc at the end of the season and cooke only going only loan till the end of this it would suggest that Broughs move could be imminent( if my source is correct)

I would be very surprised if an offer was not made.

I appreciate we will have cash but will be willing to compete with a cashed up desperate Saints club?

Are you talking about Brough or Finch.... i cannot see why saints would want Brough..... Pryce and Eastmond were supposed to be their long term half back partnership. To be fair though Pryce hasn't looked the same player since he didn't have Longy at the side of him organising the play and it is still to be seen if Eastmond can develop that side of his game so you never know. I dont care where he goes to be honest as long as its not to Wigan
