Signed a new two year deal with Parramatta a few weeks ago.

Looks like its a done deal. He will be wearing the shirt next season. Not seen much of him tbh but big boots to fill with tommy going.
He will have time to work with smith and hopefully develop a good understanding , kicking game and good organisation
Reading the other forums they feel he is injury prone, cant be any worse than Prescott can he ?

Prescott is one of 4/5 props and can be replaced quite easily. Replacing Green would be difficult as we'd have to throw in a young lad.

If Green did cop a knock I'd be happy with Powell as his replacement.
Although young and short on game time he would have a lot of experienced men around him.
Green and Smith the halves with Powell as back up seems good to me.

Agreed.

When people were saying they'd be happy with Powell and Smith I said I wouldn't because who'd back those 2 up? If we do get Green theres no saying that Powell won't force his way in anyway. If he rips it up in pre season then he may get a starting berth and if he doesn't then we have like for like replacement for our halfbacks.

Rather that then start moving Lockers or Tomkins around which could make us lose the shape of the team.

We also have williams and hampshire who may get 1-2 games each next season as cover. They will both be 18/19 next year

I wouldn't mind him in 3 or 4 games but not the full season.

I doubt it, but the truth is we don't / won't know until we see how they play together. On the plus side they are both younger.

Blake is certainly quicker than Tommy and Finch.

And none of us know what the other available options were/are.

I'm going to watch the U18's v Salford too see how Williams and Hampshire are progressing.
