I have no idea if this is true or not, but I would say why if it were the case did he not just refuse the contract offer put on the table by Wigan, ie it's personal terms etc? Whilst KR could control his ownership they were never in a position for him to agree personal terms with Wigan. Surely he could have rejected the contract, seen his last year out with KR prior to signing for Hull were he so intent to do so?

You're right, it is hard to believe.

In fact, this post reminds me of the "David Solomona will never leave Wakefield no matter what you offer him, because he loves it here so much" lecture we were subjected to a few years ago (about a month before he left Wakey to join Bradford). Some fans have a very rose-tinted view of their beloved local lads.

Good point and although not contract related he looked pretty damn happy to me with a grin as wide as a Cheshire Cat when holding the Challenge Cup after we beat ..... Hull FC.

Joburg was posting 'From what I have heard.....' comments regarding Taylor on the Hull board. I suspect he/she knows as little as the rest of us.

From a very good source, he does want to move back to Hull, and the move is not dead in the water yet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Wigan should cash in.

I'd agree if there is an adequate replacement available, if not it would be of more benefit to us to keep him for the year IMO.
