So if he stays for another year then surely he can leave on a free next year?

Better to cash in now or are IL, SW and KR playing a waiting game in the hope that a move to Hull at the end of next season may not be quite as attractive?

The hull link is due to his mrs and the home sickness. IFL confirmed that she feels homesick, reckons taylor wants to stay but she needs convincing.

Is it better to cash in though? Are we not better off having one of our best props stay for another season? Forwards of Taylor's age and quality are few and far between, particularly in SL. Yes there would be no cash return on IL's investment, but we'd at least get another season out of a top quality player. I don't understand why we signed a 22 year old, paid a reported 6 figure transfer fee and only offered a 2 year + 1 option contract. Surely it should have been a 4/5 year deal then we'd be in a better position to demand a fee, similar to Tomkins and Mossop deals. Hull are probably holding out for a lower transfer fee, having already shelled out for Sneyd, and knowing they could wait a year and get Taylor for free anyway.

And you never know, if he does another season and we have another season challenging for/winning trophies and Hull once again flatter to deceive, he may be forced to rethink.

It's certainly a gamble on Hulls part, as you have said a lot can happen in a year and is we have a poor season he might change mind or even choose to sign for Leeds and Rovers. However having already paid over 100k for Sneyd I can see Hull point in waiting and paying nothing, we are OK for props and he will replace Feka or Paea in 2016.

Reminds me of the guy who replaced Paul Mguigan in Oasis only to leave because of his girl friend.
