Agreed. We have a kicking game with Matty Smith, and for all the things Tommy Leuluai is, a great kicker of the ball isn't one! (2010 Grand Final aside.)

Travis Burns would still be my first choice out of the 2 at I really don't like the idea of 2 traditional 7's playing in the halves but we all know how good Tommy can be so if we missed out on Burns I would be happy with TL.

if its a choice between Burns and TL then its TL every time for me given his relative versatility at hooker

Versatility I don't believe to be an issue half our team can play in several positions. For me 6 is a specialist position and that is why I would like to see a specialist there.

Tommy was one of my favorite players I to this day don't think he got the credit he deserved but Burns is an out and out specialist 6 with a cracking kicking game and suits us better in my opinion.

He's also a decent goal kicker. I like TL and would welcome him back but at 7 or bench hooker not at 6.

According to Phil Wilkinson of the Evening Post (who is very reliable on these things), there is nothing in these Leuluai and Smith rumours.

We need a specialist 6 when Green leaves. Would be very happy with Travis Burns.
