It's not questioning his sex life, it's just abusing him. And was completely uncalled for, unlike other incidents of booing players. It really was an embarrassingly poor performance for him in the end though, he looked totally out of confidence. I'm fine with trying to undermine that, but just abusing him as a person, not a player, will hardly do that will it?
The fans going much further is one of the reasons I don't watch football (along with the product). Went to a Latics match with a friend a few years back, the home fans just spent the match picking out members of the visiting crowd and abusing them. So much fun
probably because there wasn't anything to watch on the field...
