just been mentioned on twitter that wigan offered Eamon a new contract but he thought Hull FC was the best option for his own personal career

Just seen it myself. Not sure what to make of it really. Wigan stuck with through his injuries, and he has not really been given much of a chance since returning from injury. I would have liked to have seen him stay 1 more season and try and establish himself before moving on.

No that concerned with him leaving, im more concerned that we have to replace Hoffman & Coley. Also no one really knows of Fielden is going to come back from his injury at his age.

I agree.

Anyone know the latest about Fielden ?

The front row has been my one big worry for us this season.

I heard on Saturday from a fairly reliable scource that Luaiki has signed for Widnes.
A lucky escape perhaps!

I don't think it's a loss myself. Much like Farrell, however talented he is, he's too small for his position.

We already have a small pack, so losing O'Carroll doesn't bother me. He's a solid prop, if he can stay healthy, but he's never going to tear up trees at his size.

Farrell is a better quality player and you do get some very good back rowers of his size; Cassidy, Dwyer, Forshaw
