I think Prescott will be a top prop. But O Carroll isn't big enough. Props who are smaller in height need unrivaled amounts of aggression and fight to match up, which he doesn't. I don't like seeing a Wigan prop thrown on the floor.

Lets raise the bar at Wigan.. take a good look at the players we have, thats why we aren't performing.

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

Don't worry.

With any luck for you guys, Wire will lose this week and then you will be able to take comfort in that.

They will become top props, but in the environment we have them in currently its doing them more bad than good.

Not for much longer, apparently he has asked for a transfer.

Can anyone on here seriously say they wouldn't of signed Riddell/Roberts? Riddell simply isn't producing and as someone as said is about on par with Higham. Even more interesting, we weren't even supposed to sign Riddell as apparently Noble went after Terry Newton but somehow we ended up with Ridell. That may not be entirely correct but it is what I've been told of a fairly reliable source.

Roberts I feel sorry for at times, he's not doing much because he ain't getting the ball much - just like Calderwood, although granted he was poor for the majority of his time at Wigan.

I don't think sacking Noble is a wise-move right now - who else is available? I know someone will inevitably post "BRING BACK EDWARDS!" but back in the real world, he wouldn't give up his cushy well paid RU job, added to the fact he said he didn't want to move back up North until his children were old enough.

The word that Noble isn't getting the players he wants is gathering strength and pace, would Noble willingly take a team with such a weak pack into the SL cauldron? No, his Bradford and GB team's prove that. Then the counter-argument is when Noble signed he said it was "his team and if he didn't choose his team and sign the players he want's he will walk." which hasn't happened.

Very confusing situation at Wigan and one that is showing no signs of sorting itself out - it's been going on for at least 3 years now, someone needs to sort it out or our fall from grace will be well and truly complete.

What we need is a new SH get shut of smith and bring in a good one then we can put TL to interchange hooker where he plays best. We need to get Pryce in the centres and see how we go then.

Last night when Riddell went off we were beaten at every play of the ball the Huddersfield players were on MM before he had decided who to pass the ball to. And Coley needs to learn to run route 1 not across the field wel would have had more impact with a wet lettuce last night.

On the whole we were quite good in defense we let in 1 very soft try on our own line when we left a hole you could have driven a bus through and the last 2 off kicks could have gone either way i thought and maybe if we had had a video ref at least one might not have been given.

Huddersfield's defense was again very good has it has been for the last few weeks so a lot of credit has to go to them.

On the Ref well all i can say is its time they got some constancy in the night before i watched the Batley game on TV and every time a player had his legs lifted in a more than 2 man tackle it was a penalty. Last night not 1 penalty was given for the same offense Why?? and how Mason avoided a Red i don't know he ran 20 yards to join in the first fight then he walked out of the pack that was fighting rand 10 yards over to TL and started hitting him. I think this inconstancy in Refereeing needs to be sorted.

I should of gone on more mate sorry but as i said on another post (on another thread I think) if we give Prescott and O'Carroll another 2 decent props to work alongside then I think both will be fantastic. Fielden and Coley just aren't up to it. I am sure Coley thinks the try lines are the sidelines and vice versa and Fielden is everyone's b1tch these days and wouldn't be able to fight his way out of a paperbag
