You raise a good point DaveO, Hansen has only missed just over a quarter of Salford's games so far which is better than I expected for a player of his age and injury record. I never said his injuries were career threatening though, unless the mind is playing tricks. However, now that we have played most of the season, Bateman is a legitimate MOS candidate and Hansen hasn't really done much at Salford, do you still feel like Bateman in for Hansen was such a bad deal as you made out? Or do you think perhaps IL and SW know what they are doing and let go at the right time? Perhaps after a similar amound of time we will look at Goulding being replaced by Gelling/Sarginson as a good swap also? I suspect by that point you will be too busy having a go at the next move to notice though to be honest.

Could this be the Sutton deal I read on here earlier? Also heard a rumour about on offer for Burgess earlier today.

You'd imagine Charnley if it's us losing a player. I don't think he'd make a trip to sign up a kid like Sutton tbh. I did read something earlier about us losing a current England international on another rumours thread.

Could it be anything to do with the expanded World Club Challenge? Steve Mascord said that he believes Brisbane and Souths will be travelling to the UK to compete in it next year. Im only guessing and I suppose that might not explain why he's in Wigan but it could be a reason for Shane Richardson travelling to the UK.

As I say though, I'm only guessing.

I would quite like it if we signed THEIR Sutton, would be a good replacement for Blake Green. But I think I'm being a little too hopeful on that front.

Thats what the mole has reported. In League Week it says 'He is expected to speak to super league bosses about the Rabbitohs' proposed involvement in an expanded six team World Club Challenge in 2015'. Ill be surprised if he hasn't got one eye on Charnley though.

Complete guess on my part that. Maybe I should have a go at picking the lottery numbers this week.

And with regards to Charnley, what's the current situation with wingers at Souths?
