Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't make him one of our top earners but but if the money is right I think he could a similar job to Deacon.

I think Burrow would be a class signing and in a side also containing Tomkins would really damage some defences.

Just read on the other forum that the Wigan Observer is linking us with Ben Hornby for next year. I'd be disappointed with that tbh as he'll be 33 come the start of the 2013 season.

As contradictory as it may seem, the signing of Hornby would suggest that the club is to focus on developing the young halves we have in our academy. After all, Hornby could only ever be a short term signing and most likely would be there to offer experience and fill a gap for a year with Powell, Hampshire and Williams given time out on loan or more responsibility in the under 20's.
