If Todd Carney was available to come to SL I would be very disappointed if we were not in for him.

A truly word class halfback. His alcohol related issues are not so bad as to put us off in my opinion. He hasn't done much worse than most players do at one time or another it's just in Australia it gets so much more attention.

I would expect though he may prefer to give Union a shot.

Green is back in a few weeks. It would be a massive waste of money.

On the field for me Carney is better than DCE, Thurston, Johnson and Cronk.
His reputation has held him back, if he applied himself he'd easily be first choice for Aus and NSW.

Green is going at the end of the year. I understand we have some good young lads in Powell, Williams and Hampshire but Carney is a world class half.

If world class players become available to you then it would be a mistake to not be bidding for him regardless if who you have waiting.

Rocky I see as a 1. Williams is not ready and doubt he will be in the next year or so and Powell could comfortably operate as our back up hooker in 2015.

Carney was signed by Huddersfield a few years ago and then refused a UK Visa.

We need an experienced half back, cant keep players the youngsters week after week. I know he's been a bad lad but would he be an option??
