Williams for me is a good 2/3 years off being a player worthy of a starting spot in a team with our ambition.

Rocky I see as a 1 with his pace (he is the fastest at the club) and skills the extra bit of space and running out wider will be most effective in my opinion.

Powell jury is still out for me, no natural pace reads the game well but more suited to hooker for me.

With Green gone I think we need to bring in a 6. I applaud the home grown situation BUT not at the cost of success of entertainment. The ideal scenario for me is

9. MM support for Powell and Williams
13.Locky

7.Smith
6.New signing

1.Bowen/Hampshire

Longterm I think it is a shoot out between Powell and Williams for a Wigan shirt.

If Taylor goes Larne Patrick would be the perfect replacement.

Powell went a long way to convincing me he could be ready last night. He now needs an extended run if games to show what he can do.

Was as Wakefield London last night due to my lad playing a curtain raiser. Tautai made a solid come back from injury, very aggressive running and tackling and Vea once more looked very good powerful and dynamic capable of breaking the line on every hit up. I hope we get him over Saints.

Both very big units.

A couple of Saints fans who seem to be pretty reliable reckon he choose Saints in the end and had a medical last week.

Their fans aren't overly impressed to be fair.

Their fans that are not happy with him are clueless. He is an excellent player. He will become a cult hero at Saints in the Tuilangi/Peralinni style.

Guessing that means they aren't going to keep Sneyd and Dobson is a replacement for Tim Smith?

they will eventually be the Toulon of rugby league and i am all for it. They give french rugby union a kick up the back side it needed and i hope salford do the same.

I am not sure how they are going to do that. They could assemble (as they seem to be doing) a decent squad and so become a competitive side but they aren't changing anything fundamental if that is what you meant. Koukash has tried to get the salary cap increased and the marquee player rule introduced but has been outvoted on both of those issues.
