While the team is indeed a big step down that team should still be more than capable of finishing in the top 4. That's a team that includes the only player (Smith) who is strongly linked with signing and obviously I would expect the club to make more signings but we're not in a terrible position despite losing four of our best players.
We're not in a great position, but it's no reason to panic, particularly when it comes to signings. Quite a few people seem to want Lenegan to open his cheque book and start making massive offers for players who are currently under contract which is a ridiculous way to run a club.
At this moment in time Wigan need to be mindful of the quality players that are being lost but sensible when it comes to signing replacements.
