The thing with Joel tomkins that he has over most other centres in the england set up is he has an offload. But i seriously hope he comes home.

Well if JT comes back as a back row forward I will be happy as it will make up for the loss of Hansen and I don't think the club appreciated how big a loss that would be.

somebody posted that it had been reported on SSN but i haven't seen it anywhere or even read it on the saracens fans forum i seriously hope its true. But i believe he is injured at the moment and i think it will take at least 3 months to get him back in to shape and put some of that muscle back on.

He does have an offload. Sadly it usually went to the linesman when he was playing centre for us.

I wouldnt have hime anywhere near the centres. i'd stick him in the back row to add a little muscle up front.
if necessary Bateman is a better centre than JT, so use him there. Im OK with Goulding, Gelling and Sarginson (+ Josh) with Thornley to come back for 2015.
We should let these develop unless a quality, genuine centre comes available.

League weekly reckon you're signing Ta'ai from Huddersfield to replace Dudson.

If we're after anyone from Hudds I really hope we rekindle our interest in Larne Patrick. Kirmond is another I'd be looking at, especially if the mooted Joel Tomkins return doesn't happen.

We have got some excellent, young exciting backs (if we can keep hold of them) so I'm not too worried about any signing anymore, unless a top class centre became available. Two or three experienced additions in the forwards shoud be our priority this off season.

A few decisions need to be made about who's going, the Bowen and Green situatons shoud hopefully become clearer soon, and I don't think too many fans would lose too much sleep if Dudson and Hughes were allowed to move on and replaced with more consistent performers. James will likely move in to a coaching role. Hopefully there's not too much in rumours of Charnley/Taylor/Goulding/Flower leaving and we can get through an off season without any high profile departures for the first time in a while!

Mentioned Vea on this thread a while back. I really like him think he would give us the size and strike that we lack a little in the back row. Big aggressive lad, prone to the odd brain fart but aren’t they all? He clearly looks like he is going to be available given London’s impending relegation.
Out of the 2 Vea would be my preferred choice.
If there is any truth in these 2 names that we are being linked with it appears Wane is looking to bring in some natural size to complement the mobility of the lads we currently have on our books.

The two of those as well as Tomkins make sense after his comment post WCC. Big, athletic bodies who can get around the field at good pace.

What comments?

Would like to keep Dudson if he can regularly play like he did on Saturday. He's still young, especially for a prop, and is one of our bigger more aggressive players and I think we need as many of these as we can get.
