The numbers of injuries that are "close" to returning gives the impression that the club is playing the system. As we know the next big game is Cas in the Cup and I'd bet that most of the injured will be back. Thornley & Clubb the exceptions.
I just hope Saturday's final score isn't messy.

I must say I don't like this one but but under the current system you can't blame the club.
Hopefullly next year will be better, it will be a top four play off where taking selection risks in the regular season could mean missing out on the play offs if things go wrong.
There won't be many, if any, meaningless games in that structure. Not as I understand it.

Good signing for them and they're certainly progressing in terms of quality of signing but they'll still struggle to crack that top 4-6 teams anytime soon.

Koukash will walk away before Salford win anything IMO because he expects a quick fix in a sport where that isn't possible.

I suspect he might too. The line on the BBC this morning is that they now appear to be "consolidating a core" team. Does anyone know whether they've got any kids in the back? Are they growing their own, or simply relying on poaching as & when? If the latter, it won't be long before the other clubs tell 'em where to get off.

Takes years to establish a decent youth system, and I don't think the doc has that much patience.
