I said about 2 years ago Atkins is the long term replacement for Senior.

If it was a choice between Atkins or Cooper, for me it would be Atkins, surely we've has are hands burnt to many times by overseas stars.
If were looking for a player in a certain position I personally would go British every time if possible, for a number of different reasons.

Atkins is a good player without doubt but would we be willing to pay the transfer fee. I'm not so sure.

I wanna win the EuroMillions so i can donate £2m quid to the club on the promise it will be used on transfer fees to buy the playes we need out of their contracts

Atkins/Shenton, Briscoe, Myler, Burgess and Pritchard will do for me.

I'd like to think 2011 as a possible replacement for Carmont.

He needs a big year in the reserves in 2010.

for those thought had touted for anasta seems he suffered an horrific ankle injury at the weekend. dislocated and broke his anke, ouch.

The events of today has convinced me even more that our new coach should be Brian McDermott.

Well I am not sure about McDermott but I am glad at least you and AJ share my reservations about Lam. I thought I was the only one who thought it would not be a good move given the situation we are in and what actually needs sorting out.

I share them too. He hasn't done anything like enough as a coach to convince me that he'd improve us in any way, let alone in the vital areas where we are so plainly lacking.
