Hopefully he does want to come back at some point because he was terrific for us and a real leader and we could do with that at the moment. Another player I'd like to think will come back here one day is Tommy Leuluai.

IF, and it's a BIG IF, Hoffman is available then IL should move heaven and earth to bring him back to Wigan.

What a way to signal intent about the here and now!!

It's not very often a player ticks all the boxes needed by Hoffman would be that guy.

Not exactly rocket science is it?

Problem for us isn't number one. Number two as we all know- it is impossible to offer more money if the cap is so small. We've made number three our own problem though.

How can you possibly suggest we don't have a winning culture at the club.

And point 3 is a complete non issue IMO, it is blindingly obvious that our most talented youngsters are being tied to long term deals so at least the club can demand a transfer fee if/when offers start to come in. If a player has a desire to go to the NRL at some point or at least wants to be able to consider options should they come along, then they're not going to sign 4/5/6 year deals in the 1st place if they don't think there's anyway to get out of it.

Both Williams and Hampshire have told Wigan, play us regular or were off.

Saints have enquired about Williams for next season and a couple of Yorkshire clubs ready to bid for Hampshire.

With Green and Bowen potentially at the end of their contracts this year, that would make no sense. Unless they are talking their contracts up...
