I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.

Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

Tonight further strenghens my believe that it's 2 forwards we should be signing for next season.

A back up halfback could possibly be brought in if theres room but it's not essential.

Get 2 forwards in and this side can really go places.

Couldn't agree more, 2 new props or even one exceedingly good one such as Kite will take us up another notch, and don't even get me stated on Fielden, if I'd had a rifle with me I might have taken a shot at him.

Last night further confirmed for me that we are FIELDEN away from being up there with the top 2. On paper now i think the one difference between su and leeds [over the course of a season!] is Peacock, we don't have a Peacock. Strong hard running prop, hard man, leader. This is what Fielden should be for us, fair enough he's solid in defence, but thats not what he's here for.

If we could get in a new aussie prop for next year [which will someone please PM me about! haha] i think our team would be up there at the top throughout the season.

NEW PROP
Riddell
Prescott [come on leaps and bounds now]

J Tomkins
Hansen
Sean O'Loughlin

Sam T
Tommy Leuluai [who has become a lot more creative, partly down to sam being first reciever rather than himself all the time, kicking game a lot better as well]

Backs the same as this year.

BENCH
Feka
Coley
Mossop
McIllorum

Then in the squad we'd still have ridiculous depth with Farrell, Flanaghan [if he's still here], O'Carroll, Goulding, Ainscough, Fielden, Pryce with most of those having quite a lot of first team experience.

Just missing that one intimidating prop, and tbh i'd pay fielden off now and not play him next season. Purely because if we got a new prop in we'd have 6 first teamers, with Ben Davies possibly looking for some 1st team action next year as well.

Just a thought but with cracks starting to appear in both Saints and Leeds' air of invincibility I wonder how much Graham or Peacok would cost? Seems to me we might have the money to spend and they both could use it to start replacing their aging bodies, Saints especially.

I was once told that Graham was actually a Wigan fan - or had been as a lad. But, unless Saints suffer a real collapse, prying him away from KR would be next to impossible, I'm sure. I hear what you say about maybe they could use the money, but it would be a hugely unpopular move with their fans. I think they'd do everything possible to hang onto him.

It worked with Connolly and Platt though. Besides, everyone's a winner if you think about it, we get a decent prop, they get to extend their world record holding "List of things I really hate about Wigan ......"

I doubt we’d get him either tbf but it sure would be fun trying wouldn’t it? Imagine watching the Saints fans sweating at the thought of seeing him line up in the famous Cherry and White strip.

IMO we should be looking to rock the boat at Saints in a massive way and take the wind out of them just a little bit more.

We don't have a cat in hell's chance of getting Graham in my opinion, however I do think we could get someone in who will be just as good as Graham and that's the one and only LMS.
In all seriousness a lot of jokes are made of the guy's name but I'd give anything to get him in a Wigan shirt in 2010.

I'm thinking more of LMS replacing Fielden rather than anybody else.
