But there are no long term options at HB out there at this moment in time.

If we keep Sam at FB and buy say Brough it's fair to say in three years we'll be looking for a new HB and FB.

Get Russell or Eden in now as they are excellent long term prospects and might not be around/available in three years. That way when Sam does leave we may only need one new HB

During the Salford game today the Sky commentators linked us with Matty Smith. Also mentioned a return to Saints.

Think we need a song to convince Finchy to stay.

Ive said previously I'd like Smith but he's not having the best year.

Id be happy enough to have him alongside Finch but we'll need better if he leaves.

Was sat behind me during the 2nd half of the Leeds Bradford game, heard a few 'goings on' but nothing about about moving clubs.

We need to bring in a kicker if nothing else. Soward's a pretty good one isn't he?

That said, it's a shame (assuming Finch stays) that both of our halves will be Australian again. I know we have some players in the Academy and Mellor/Powell aren't dead just yet, but this country really need to start producing quality halves!

The rumour of Gaskell really intrigues me. Someone that I could see turning into a real star at Wigan behind this pack.
