I agree in principle but you have to make sure it's the right people that vote, sometimes the opo fans get involved to 'mess things up'
Who can remember the Man Utd fans getting involved with the naming of a Man City stand after Colin Bell, thus the stand being the Bell end ?
If there had been a general vote then you would have still been stuck with this kit, Wire/Saints/Widnes/Leigh would have all made sure of that.
Easy....just do it to the season ticket holders only, or to those who subscribe to the website on a date before they announce you can vote....I beleive sheffield united are doing the same this season.
As for the comments above......I havent said we've been served up with other 5hyte, just the fact that the buy whatever its like brigade will naturally 'save' products that are 5hyte, because they stop normal market forces dictating as they usually do.
As for the 'most' are starting to like it I suggest you read the previous 22 pages, the majority of Wigan RL fans facebooks status's and other forms of social media to realise 95% think its a monstrosity!!!
And as for the 'Dont be so pathetic over a bloody shirt, if you dont like it, dont buy it. The club will have plenty of other things in store if you want to buy something you like with the Wigan badge on it.' comment.
Yes I will buy other things with wigan on it, but watching our great team play in THAT next season will actually take some of my enjoyment out of watching the game!
It wont feel like im watching wigan, and if we are lucky enough to win things next year, whenever i watch the videos in future years ill be thinking FFS...when we won at wembley / the WCC or whatever? Why the f00k did we HAVE to be wearing THAT!!

Yes most people I know like it now, whats the deal?
This is brilliant, in no way will the club change the shirt, so get used to it!
All your mates must be Saints fans!! They're the only ones loving this shirt!
...and yes....if we were breaking with Tradition something similar to the St George one would have been epic instead of this shower.
If you want to break traditions you do it subtly. Theres breaking with tradition and blowing it out the water, and sadly wigan have done the latter here!!

[quote="19 Leagues"]If you think you can get the club to change the shirt just because you dont like it then you are seriously deluded. They will sell enough, the shirt is already growing on people and most like it now.
just who exactly are most people??
get yourself onto facebook and twitter and you'l see the majority of the posts are slating the new home shirt! its a shocker end of story!
