I would have thought the more progressive clubs would have got behind this initiative, but several who backed IL's challenge to the RFL (Hudds, both Hulls) decided not to support this one. Perhaps they feel intimidated by what Koukash is trying to do at Salford?

God knows what's going on with Eamon McManus these days - I always had him pinned as one of the more savvy SL chairmen but he seems to have thrown his full support behind Wood and his cronies.

Davy is no spring chicken what happens to Hudds when he croaks it? Has he left the club money or a family member continues with his good work? Are they expecting a hiccup in the future so don't need the risk?

Hull FC rugby equivalent of the keeping up with the Jones' neighbours who buy everything on tick and pretend they're loaded. Not surprised they haven't gone with it

KR, Cas, Wakey, London, Bradford are we shocked, really I bet Wigan are worth more than all those together.

Catalan probably abstained as they usually do, raised the white flags and turned the other way.

Saints though, you'd think they'd be behind this but alas they spent all their money on cladding and repairing the roof every time there's a light breeze.

Genuinely though Saints and Hudds have baffled me?

Why do we vote on every single issue? It's getting beyond a joke! If it involves cash these votes will only ever go one way- the cheap way!!

Get a governing body in who will make strong decisions that benefit the game as a whole and not just a few village teams.

We're going nowhere fast.

Utterly bizarre that the paupers of super league dictate.

We need a visionary to lead us.

If Maurice Lindsay was in his prime he would threaten a breakaway super premier super duper league containing only clubs with the desire to compete with the NRL and Union.

He would figure this would frighten our teams with no ambition to toe the line or go into a lesser league.

Personally, I would take the voting away from the clubs, and let the RFL make decsions like this. The clubs are only ever going to vote for what benefits their club, and not the game as a whole.

I agree - I think the agenda of the RFL (level the playing field downwards) is identical with the clubs outside the top six. They only put things to a vote when they're confident they can get what they want.
