Brown is not worth 400,00 drachma.

I would be miffed if he cost us 50k. I would still be disappointed if he came on a free (unless he was also on the national minimum wage)

Jamie Soward to wigan has been mentioned in the oz press again it also says Finch has told you he's off.

I'd take anything the Aussie press says with a pinch of salt tbh. They were saying only a few weeks ago he was desperate to get back to the NRL yet all the noises from himself and this country in general is that he wants to stay in superleague.

Whatever the truth is Ian Lenagan needs to be all over this situation. If he can't get Finch to stay on then he needs to add a couple of halfbacks to the squad and they must be of the highest quality.

We can't afford to be scratching round come November feeding off scraps.

The feeling of that whole article is a little dramatic and OTT.

Not saying he wont end up in pasture new, but it is hard to take that particular example seriously.

I dunno, the Aussie papers always seem to get hold of this sort of info before the English press (not that he might be going cos we've known that for weeks but when it is reported as if its nailed on). IIRC both Hoff and Madge's departures were first reported in a similar way.

Finch staying is a must. Really hoping thew Soward rumours are true but a completely new HB pairing isnt ideal. We cant keep swapping and changing every couple of years, Barrett/Tommy, Smith/Tommy, Sam/Tommy, Finch/Tommy and now we could be looking at Soward and a new 7 plus a new centre wing partnership down the left when George goes. Too much disruption for me.

I just can't see Finch leaving us. You looks at his reaction when ever we score a try, he's pumping his fist and embracing the players around him with open arms. That doesn't look like a player who has any desires to leave.

Listening to the Ull FC game yesterday. Matty Russel had a wow of a game. Great on kick returns and chiming into the line providing offloads. A little unlucky with the bounce of a ball for the final London try, but other than that very, very good. FC's best player by all accounts.

I know his loan deal with them is up at the end of the month, but I see know reason why he can't stay there until season end. In saying that, reading the FC rumor thread, they'd more than love to keep him on a permanent basis as well as getting Finch off us.

too much disruption is the reason why we have not been consistent. comapred to the below:-

Sinfield, mcGuire, Burrow,
Ablett, peacock, JJB, Bailey, Kirke, Leuluai, Lauititi

All 10 have played in Leeds GF' since 2007 and they had a further 6 players who appeared in 3 of the 4 wins...

Settled team is what we have lacked in the vital positions.
