Won't let me quote for some reason, but the streaming service will be available internationally. Will actually be much better value outside of the UK, as they will get all games streamed live. In the UK we get the games that are not selected by Sky live, and the ones that are selected by Sky will be uploaded on a delay.
I was pretty optimistic when the service was announced. It was said it would be in line with Netflix, but it isn't and it's way too expensive. I'd be expecting it to enter at around £9.99 (they can always raise the price later if they think that is needed) and at that price I'd be 100% subscribing but £19.99 per month is just too much for what it is. Disappointing
I've got a season ticket, so all the home games are covered. Outside of that you'd expect 5 or 6 of the away games (Saints, Leeds, Wire, Cats as a min) will be on sky anyway. The PPV gives that ease of not having to travel for the few that aren't being shown.
Outside of that, i have zero interest in anything else on that platform.
I found some of the wording from Rhodri Jones interesting. He seemed to be avoiding stating that all games are available on demand, only mentioning an on demand feature when specifically speaking about the live Sky games that are added later (48hrs from the journo's tweets a couple of days ago).
So i had a nosey on the website, and unless it is very badly worded it seems that you can only stream games on demand from the current season if you pay from an annual pass. if you choose to pay monthly (as i would expect most to) it appears you would only be able to watch games live, thus making it impossible to consume all the content and making the price point even worse.
Bit of a baffling decision if you ask me, i would have thought Super League would want most people paying monthly as they would earn more money that way. Even if a monthly subscriber pays for just the months in season, they would be handing over £180 as opposed to £130 (£100 for season ticket holders). Surely keeping these people happy should be important, not gatekeeping content from them.

I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league.
Sky Sports and NOW is the only place to watch every game live all season. All six matches in each Super League round will be shown live, totalling around 170 games each year across Sky and NOW platforms. This will include Magic Weekend fixtures, Playoffs and all three Grand Finals - Men's, Women's and Wheelchair.
Continued innovation will also be seen on screen, as renewed investment means that video referees will now feature in all Super League matches, bringing increased consistency and integrity to the sport.
In addition to live matches, Super League fans can tune in to Sky Sports for a range of support programming, including interviews and features whilst being able to stay across all the latest rugby league news on Sky Sports' social media channels, skysports.com, the Sky Sports App and Sky Sports News. For non-Sky subscribers, fans can still stream every Betfred Super League live match with a NOW Sports Month membership.

The service is great for people whose needs it suits. If you want to watch other sports as well then keep your Sky subscription. If you have no interest in other sides, then you can buy a one off pass for your teams games. If you’re a casual tv viewer and don’t want to watch football, cricket etc then it’s happy days. It’s £129 for 9 months of live rugby league if you do want to subscribe and £99 if you’re a season ticket holder (but enjoy watching other teams games as well).
It doesn’t make it a bad service just because it isn’t perfect for every single persons needs. In terms of my own, it’ll only really come of any use for the odd one off Wigan game I can’t make and as and when I need it I’ll be happy it’s there to use.
