The wrong type of first team experience to actually get a look at how suited the academy/reserve lads are to first team rugby. Hopefully that try will give us a bit of belief that we look like we’ve needed so far. I’d love for Mago just to take an actual drive in where he’s looking to bust first and foremost rather than constantly looking for the offload. Coming onto the ball at pace would be a start.
The more I see Mago, the more I’m reminded we are missing a dominant front row to get the best out of him, he just isn’t a pack leader or game changer in that regard. Occasional flashes are there to make you think ‘if only.’
