That's how I'm travelling Brian, then Ibis Central.

Went to Toulouse a few years ago when they beat Widnes in the Challenge Cup, a good weekend until returning on Monday to the airport to be told the firefighters were on strike and all flights were cancelled - so hey-ho another two days on vin rouge and cassoulet.

I'm on that flight and train on Friday too. Have you booked your train ticket in advance or will you buy it on Friday?

Peet confirmed Miski is playing this week.

Can see Field getting a rest given his strapping last week, with Hardaker FB, just a guess.

Bevan travelling but not playing.

"He deserves it and we're really excited about that," Peet said. "He's been flawless since he came into the club, very professional and we're looking forward to giving him his debut.

"He's only missed out because the lads in front have had credit in the bank. It's a bit of rotation but rotation that he's forced us into. He scored three for the reserves and was the best payer on the field."

One player who will also travel to France is Bevan French - but he will not feature in either game, with the Australian some way off a return to first-team action after landing back in England last week. Instead, Wigan are eyeing up a game in the Challenge Cup for French to make his return

Surprised Bevan is going to France but they must have access to good facilities where he can continue with his training.

Excited to see Miski play - I hope the club will still be able to provide the full match on Wigan TV (no problem whatsoever if it comes without the irritating commentary).

Appreciate the quotes on Miski but also possible that one of the backline is unvaccinated so cannot travel?

Looking forward to seeing what he can bring though. We’ve been blessed with 3 or 4 strong wingers in recent times but that’s slipped recently.

Re: Toulouse game. : Tue Mar 01, 2022 7:22 pm
It was apparently one player who hasn’t had the vaccine, so if it’s not French, Havard or Thornley, it should be easy enough to work out when the squad/travelling party is named because it doesn’t look like we’ve any other injury concerns.

I’m looking forward to seeing (well possibly hearing or possibly not) what Miski brings to the side. I personally would give him, Smith and O’Neill a shot on Saturday and it would be up to them to make an impression. If they do then it’s happy days and the competition for places just grows and grows. If not, then they risk not getting another chance for a while and that’s exactly how it should be (and how it wasn’t last year).

Didn’t even think that?

I have a feeling it’ll be one of our props or outside backs
