Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
Dont be ridiculous. It seems to be fine if people talk about how great the Brigantes/Ultras (or whatever they are called this week) are but any criticism, no matter how small or constructive it is, and people react in a complete over the top reaction like this. It was similar on the swearing thread last week with Brigantes members belittling peoples genuine concerns because they thought it was big and clever to chant songs with swear words in it when there were easy compromises/alternatives.
I dont like the way they purposely set out to be so devisive and have a if you are not with us you are aginst us attitude. Many of peoples fears and concerns could have been sorted out at the start of the year, it really didnt take much. However as far as I can see it there is absolutely no compromise, no taking on board peoples concerns and a general screw you we will do as we please attitude to the rest of the supporters.
Do what you want it doesn't matter to me if you have 10 or 10,000 each to there own just sick of about 10 threads with the same stuff all over the forum just have 1 and talk about it there thats all im saying

There's 1, and this is it. Massive over-reaction and dummy-spit from you.

You can see what the topic is about from the title. Simply don't open it and read through it.
Read something you do have interest in, it's really not that hard.
As soon as I saw the shot on sky of all the kids with those scarves and the one with his face covered I just knew there would be a thread about it , Getting a bit tedious now but I guess I'd rather see people moaning about teenagers with ultra scarves than the team being crap. Don't agree with the face being covered by scarf thing but they aren't hurting anyone... yet... and the atmosphere sounded great on the tv.

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.
"The mid-to-late 1980s and early-to-mid-1990s is the most successful period for the club to date, however, even without this glorious trophy laden period, Wigan would still have won more trophies than any other professional British rugby league club due to their successes throughout the club's history."
The only positive I can take from this is that it's a sign that everything else is going well. There's nothing else for Wigan fans to complain about.
Nail on the head.
However, I will have a moan. I'm all for generating more atmosphere, but I don't see the point of someone labelling themselves as a Brigante or Ultra or whatever. Surely we can just generate atmosphere as Wiganers. It's as if they think they are some set of super fans, and has an elitist feel to it. I just don't get it, sorry.
