As someone has pointed our earlier, Hudds were awful, Wigan were awful, referee was awful.

The perception with everyone from outside the Rugby League Community is that Wigan are still the biggest name in British rugby league.

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.

the whole thing was rubbish - both teams, the ref, the weather, the atmosphere was as dead as a nit!

the fans are getting so fed up now

Should've made for a classic game then.

As i said on current form no.

At the end of the year we may scrape in, and put a run together which in the grand scheme of thing will mean nothing and paper over the cracks of another gash season as we will still be lightyears behind the front runners, still if that pleases you fair enough.

Looking at this thread "in the morning" it's easy to see how threads can "rachet up" and, let's say "strong points of view put forward" ;)

I actually think that we both are in agreement as to what we would prefer- a Wigan side playing consistent attractive effective rugby.

The point I am making is that the structure of the competition means we don't have to play well NOW. I agree it's total rubbish. Wigan, imo, SHOULD be penalised for playing poor, however, as long as they finish in the top 8, they won't be.

Huddersfield just did the basics right (most of the time) and took their chances.

For Wigan it was a typical performance of the last few seasons. Dropped ball, too many silly penalties, no leadership and a beaten pack.

We simply aren't good enough, too many players who aren't good enough and an average coach.

The pack isn't up to it and hasn't been for a while now. Can't attach any blame to the backs when they are constantly playing behind a weak pack, we can't rely on Trent to pull a rabbit out the hat anymore. It says something when your best prop on the night is a 'kid'

I stated this would happen on the predictions thread, and was pilliored for it, all you have to do to beat us is try hard! That is very very worrying

We have seen this a lot over the last 3 seasons which is the worrying thing. We haven't improved. Basic errors cost us again. Not good enough.

Pretty much every fan from every other club has been saying this for a couple of years about Wigan, only the presence of Trent Barret managed to paper over the cracks

Unsurpisingly without Trent, Wigan cant win.

did most of them forget that your 2 tries came from soft penalties that launched you upfield without that "abysmal" referee you struggled to create anything

I thought Wigan had a good try disallowed but yes you are correct on above statement.
