Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

Maybe you should have come to the game then, because apart from a few occasions, we all enjoyed it. It was a win, ST was my MOM and we've got home happy.

And before anyone questions it, I live closer to London than Wigan.

I agree. But you can only play who's in front of you and tonight we defended well against a well organised and resolute team. We saw a massive improvement on previous weeks but will need to improve further for the big games. I just wish that the Wigan fans could enjoy themselves from time to time. I'll explain it in a nutshell. I currently have a friend over from Aus staying with me. He watched the game tonight and saw the things that need improving just like the rest of us. But his words on seeing the whinging on here...and I quote... "F*ck me, I can't believe people are actually whinging after a good game of footy like that. Don't they know how to enjoy themselves in Wigan?"

I'm rarely embarrassed to be a Wigan fan. Coming on here tonight was one of the rare occassions.

It was a good game but only because both teams were woeful in defense and that allowed numerous attacking plays, and a lot were wasted. But i agree it is an improvement on the last couple of weeks but it is still well below the mark we should expect from Wigan.

Normally would have mate. Couldn't tonight but I'm sure Id have enjoyed it too! Looked like a great time off what we saw on the screen...or should that be, off what some of us saw!

I still don't see your point. Defensive lapses are what allows attacking play. If you can only see things from a negative point of view how can you possibly enjoy your rugby? Anyway I suppose that's none of my business in the end.

BTW I'm not disagreeing with your points, just your seeming inability to enjoy a win. But that's your perogative in the end.

nobby needs to realise players like tompkins and ainscough have saved his bacon....if he drops either now hes and idiot and needs calling into question.

Ainscough and Tompkins MUST start next week. Lets start gettin a few more young lads in as well. Would like to see thornley and mossop get a chance.

Nobby has finally done what the fans want and drop the waste of spaces for younger lads with more talent, and has started to finaly pick a team that the fans are happy with. Get riddell, hock, and coley droped, finish the job off properly now and then we might have a team that looks like we could win somethin.

I thought Riddell showed good signings of improvement tonight. Controlled things better with more runs from dummy half. Still needs to get around more in defence and improve his fitness though.

I thought Hock was very good today as well, carried it a lot and very strongly, played 65+ mins solid defence and NO brain farts. Considering he is one of our few game breakers, international, a wiganer etc etc I think it would be ridiculous to drop him

I am completely on your wavelength in terms of being disillusioned at Wigan fans' apparent inability to take pleasure in a win.

Agreed, thought Riddell was miles better tonight and Hock was impressive.
