Quality NRL players? Riddell an Roberts (who both may I add have question marks over thier heads by some fans). England Internationals are Lockers, Hock, Fielden(Not so much him but he's there and there abouts).

Yes we have some good players and one/two quality players, but you cannot say that we have a better squad than most other SL clubs.

Leeds, Sts, Wire, Huds are all before Wigan IMO. Probably even more clubs than that.

I agree that maybe Noble's tenure may come to an end at the end of the season or if results carry on, actually in the season, but when he asks for players and IL doesn't strive to sign them, can we really pin the blame on Noble?

Proven NRL Players.

Roberts
Riddell
Smith
Richards
Feka
Bailey

England Internationals

Fielden
Locky
Hock

World Cup Winning International

Thomas Leuleui

10 senior players there.

Add to this a wealth of junior Internationals, and International players from Junior Nations.

In reality we have a bloody good squad, but also in reality they are not performing.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

We created enough chances to win that game. Goulding could have and maybe should have had three tries.

Roberts let the ball bounce, when he should have took it on the full (Mathers would have been hung out to dry by many on here if it had been him)

The loss of Phelps didn't help, with us having no back sub on the bench.

Ball retention in the second half was not good enough.

It's a game we could and should have won.

Well Noble earned a Brownie point by dropping Coley. Can he earn another by playing Ainscough if Phelps is injured with a hamstring?

It would be ironic if injuries and suspensions delivered us a side selected as many of us would like e.g.

Riddell injured forces TL and McIllorum to be the hookers so we get Sam T in the team at 6 and Smith at 7.

Mathers suspended means we get Roberts or Richards at full back.

Phelps out puts Ainscough on the wing.

But seriously everyone was banging on about the depth of the squad so injuries to those players ought not to be a problem.

No. If I had to declare an allegiance to a soccer team on here it's Man City!

I am not sure I agree with Nobby when he said our composure matched our effort towards the end.

Imo it was in the last quarter of the game our composure was lacking.

He said if they had matched. Not they did match.

That's not the impression I get from reading his comments on the club site. The way I read it he says they matched one another.
