Thought it was a mixed bag for Keighran last night but the way he handled high pressure goal kicks bodes well. Will be interesting to see how he goes at Wigan.

I'm not commenting on if he is/isn't. All I'm saying is that, if the club wanted, he'd be staying (supposing he is under contract that is). That's as black and white as it can be.

Who knows and maybe under a new billionaire owner, we might make the guys stick to their deals. It's not like we need the fees anymore. N

The club definitely wanted him to stay.

He wanted to go to the NRL.

Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane & Canberra have been targeting young Wigan forwards since 2020.

KPP had the opportunity to leave last year but opted to honour his contract with Wigan.

What I'm trying to say is that if the club wanted to hold him to his contract then that's what would happen. It's literally a legally binding contract. If they club said we've got you for two years and you're not leaving, then he wouldn't be able to go.
