I'd say half back or loose forward. That does of course mean that one of Field, French or Smithies could possibly be off. Hope not but you never know.

Not a clue if it's a half and the only major signing i can think of at loose is Radley.

Well, there's Farrell. But I don't think we need him, and I can't believe Radley would want to leave the NRL, even if he is no longer eligible for rep games.

The scheme though surely was purely for a short term injection it not sustainable to keep doing that,you’re bang on they need a backer and one who has a vision for the long term future and stability of the club.

Definitely a short term vision (as in a year or two) but the money was raised with a promise of turning them in to a club that keeps their players and to stop them being a selling club. They hit the target on 30th May (looking at the reports online) and we then signed Dupree on 26th July. It took less than 2 months to go against the vision and it then feels like nothing more than a desperate bid to get some cash in, to keep the wolves from the door.

Paul McShane is now rumoured to be going back to Leeds so I guess this pours cold water on Powell to Leeds?

Their financial struggles are well documented over recent years, and without a wealthy benefactor there may well be further players moving on.
