A deal for Eseh could’ve been agreed weeks ago for all we know, be that to Saints or Wigan. If a club wanted him enough and wanted to steal a march and stump up some money, what would stop them?

In a separate article Carter says 15 or 16 are signed up but the link only names about 6.
Buying Eseh and loaning him back makes sense to me.
Time will tell.

Therefore, whoever claimed that Eseh has been sold by Wakefield is lying.

The deal could have been done months ago a bit like when Clark left Cas. He was Out of Contract but Wire stumped up cash mid season to secure his signature early so others couldn’t.

I know the lad quoting this personally and I know he won’t be telling porkies and he more than likely will have indirect contact to the management at Trinity.

I have 0 reason to doubt him but I admit I’m a little surprised by the move if it comes off.

I think he classes as federation trained as he spent 3 seasons at a European club under the age of 21. He would class as home grown if he came out of retirement and signed for London.

He came over at 19 and was soon 20 after coming so I’m not sure that’s correct and if so why did it only come into play at the end of his career?

Twitter all seems to be sure he’s signing for Saints.

I’m aware, I’ve no reason to doubt the original poster either.

Time will tell I guess.

My thought would be IF he does sign we would look to use him in the Kade Ellis style as a middle playing Prop and 13 once he returns from his loan spell with Trinity (should the information turn out to be correct).
