F**king woeful! Bring back the 97 MS Paint Warrior shirt all is forgiven.
The annoying thing is, without the crap run in the wash effect, it would be a pretty decent shirt!!!
How many monstrosities have the club ordered! If it is say only a 1000 couldnt IL realise his mistake and order the rest without the 'run in the wash' effect and have a proper kit!!?!!!
It is pretty late to backtrack now I accept, but if the club dont do something fast they're going to lose a lot of money on what should have been our best selling kit in years on the back of a grand final win. IMO they will be lucky to shift more than 2-3k of these as most fans simply wont buy!
I wouldnt have that given me I honestly wouldnt....never mind pay 40 notes for it!
IL's first big mess up!
My thoughts entirely.
A huge sales opportunity missed by the club.
IMO the shirts are primarily for the fans really, as the players (i guess) wouldnt care what they wear.
Their job is solely to win trophies. As it should be.
Club blurb says-
'Breaking with tradition'Question - Why? To impress who exactly?Surely its that very heritage and tradition which helps make Wigan so famous as an RL club?
And at the forefront of that are the famous Cherry n
WHITE hoops.
I really have no idea what they must have been thinking with this bizarrely fooked-up effort.
Marketing faux-pas of the very highest order.
And it certainly WONT be being purchased at Xmas (or any other time) - Now struck completely off the list for this year.
I dont think even the Cas shirt-burners would bother wasting a box of swan vestas on this effort!
