Owen Farrell seems very unlikely.
However, if England bomb it in the Union World Cup who knows?
With 100% of his salary exempt from the salary cap in the first year and 50% in the second could open the way for a one year deal where he will return to Union for the remainder of his playing career.

I think his England days will be numbered after the World Cup regardless of how they do.

They like to work in 4 year cycles and no way is he going to be around for the next one, and they already have Smith pushing through needing game time as the heir apparent.

I haven’t any insider information at all but I’d love Owen Farrell to join us. I’ve said several times over the years that he’s one of the best rugby footballers in the world in either code. I’m just hoping that Danson makes the money available to get him. Can you imagine the atmosphere on Good Friday?
Commercially a no brainer albeit high risk from a performance point of view.

I don’t think there is any doubt that Mike Danson will make money available for the right player.

Like you say commercially it would be gold,only time we could need a bigger stadium against Saints.
