1 thing that stood out when England player PNG was they all god gassed early and couldn’t compete. Here’s hoping for the same

When you order Justin Olam from Wish.

He went well in the World Cup to be fair but I do t think this signing is going to concern too many.

Halves and centres are like hens teeth at the moment and I’m glad we went about out business early this year.

It’s a shame to lose King and we will have to change out style to accommodate Keighran as he is a very different player but given what is available it looks a cracking bit of business.

Wire signing Wesley Bruines from Saints as well, who is a young centre, so that’s him, Tai, Wrench, Ratchford and potentially Matautia and King. Feels a lot and you can’t help wonder if the King move is completely dead or not.

Personally, I think it's the type of project signing I'd expect us to make. Burgess will have spoken to Bennett about the lad, so it's not a complete gamble. Add in they've only signed him for 12 months & are getting King back - it's almost like a free shot.

For some reason it’s not letting me quote on reply’s so to cover the above 2 posts, Wire have also been linked with a move for a centre from Manley too.

Bruins I would say is an outside back rather than centre but they still seem to be carrying a lot of cap space in the centres especially if they get King back as expected.

In regards Tai Sergeant I agree. I thought he went well in the World Cup but all the talk was around Olam.

He is a shot to nothing but again it seems odd given how many centres they seem to be collecting.

I would say Matautia is a deffo goner, the Wire fans hate him. I think it will be Tai and King as starting centres, with Wrench as the next choice and Rashford to cover if needed.

Ratchford covering 9 next season apparently with Dwyer not coming (thank heavens). I hope we don’t sign Rashford as I hope our gimmick signings are a thing of the past. Matautia retiring as well I believe….I thought he already had.

Apparently not. Maybe Burgess put a clause in not to have a headless chicken who can’t pass as an interchange hooker.
