I am not sure where Mago would fit in if we retained him , we would have Ellis, Havard, Byrne, Dupree as certain starters/bench plus Cooper to come back so thats 5 props plus Hill and Chan as backup so 7 props in total. I know a lot depends on when/how well Cooper comes back but it would seem we would have enough props next season. Second row/loose we would have Smithies, Farrell, Walters and Shorrocks plus Nsemba so maybe one more needed there? Unless there is another young player knocking on the door (assuming Isa leaves which we do not know about yet).

Hull FC fan in peace. Any idea what is happening with Cade Cust?
I thought we may be interested as we need a halfback and have a quota spot available.

Don't think there's any chance of him being retained at Wigan. May do well at another SL club but his injuries seem to have set him back massively.

That’s interesting NK. If TB signed for Wire then I am assuming that his salary would be capped at £100k, I also assume that Williams salary would be capped at the same figure, and King could count as £50k. Obviously, that is if the rules allow it, has anybody got a detailed knowledge of how the new marquee rules actually work? On the face of it, I see no reason why three federation players cannot be nominated as marquee players.

Well with no rumours and those 'in the know' not sharing any info its reasonable to assume there are no new recuits to be announced

Yes I was basing my thoughts on what we know for sure (or has been announced) - be interesting if there are more players arriving in what position they would be- prop looks well stocked for now although a big exeprienced prop would benefit us it would limit any appearances for the likes of Hill and Chan, maybe a back row forward to repalce Isa, and possibly a half-back?

That is also assuming departures for the likes of Isa, Cust, Mago and King for certain.

Quite a big turnover for Wigan that.
