| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"His form has dropped since the rumours first started but hopefully he gets back to his best soon, once a move is secured. He was playing really well prior to that and looked the sort of prop we need.'"
Must admit I don’t know much about him but he was a bit anonymous when we played them the other week.
I’m assuming SW is involved in the decision to go after Dupree.
Is this Danson’s first input into the first team? I believe that he invested heavily into the youth setup already.

| Good signing but does this mean no barnstorming veteran prop?

| On paper it sounds great, young prop who’s just broke through into the England team but I’m a little unsure.
I haven’t been blown away when I’ve watched him.
Example of Dansons influence though, that transfer fee is peanuts to him.

| In the longer term, I presume they hope he can add quality impact from the bench and rotate guys like him and Walters around lads like Ellis and Havard, who can do big minutes. When he was bang in form earlier in the season, Dupree was averaging between 9 and 11 metres a carry in a lot of games and we’ve seen what Walters can do recently. They can hopefully go a long way to adding that extra punch we need. We still need to add some experience though IMO.

Cas just freed up a quota spot by releasing 2 overseas players.
They needed to let 1 quota player go to register their incoming signings for rest of this year, seems odd they would release 2 without having a plan for it, so maybe Mago does go.
Interesting couple of days to come I expect.
Must be losing 1 of Mago or Singleton, don’t see us losing both immediately.
My money back on Mago.

Salford will want a replacement for Dupree though and makes sense to bring the Singleton deal forward.
Mago has improved although he still frustrates a little. I assume there is only one more player to come in after Dupree (hopefully an experienced one) - if that's the case then either we don't fill our quota for next year or someone stays who we don't expect to from Mago, Isa and Cust.

They’ve signed a player who played for Lebanon in the World Cup according to Matt Shaw not long ago on Twitter.

I may be wrong but I am sure I read today that they needed to open up 1 quota spot to register all of the signings that were already announced.
Edit Love Rugby League article says they only needed to deregister 1.

Fonua and Faraimo have been released and that allowed them to sign the players they announced the other day (Horne and Tsikrikas) and it left one spot open. That is being filled with a NSW Cup second rower called Charbel Tasipale. Apparently went well in the World Cup and has 7 try’s in 16 games at second row in reserve grade.
I think that’s how it’s all set up anyway. We could do with holding Mago IMO, if for no other reason that to keep others on their toes.
