Really happy with the sales so far and as the game gets closer and the new season starts I expect them to keep picking up. Anything less then a complete sell out would be a suprise now tbh and thats going to create an amazing atmosphere. It really is a game that should live long in the memory and make the DW feel abit more like home with the history we'll be building up there.
I can't wait.
I think thats the main reason this ground has never felt like home. The biggest moments we have had are wins against Saints and probably the one in the last minute against Bradford. More memories of the place will make it feel like home. Central Park is remembered more than most grounds for the amazing games there especially the Manly one. I want to be telling my kids in 20-30 years time about the time we beat St George and became the greatest team on the plannet with players like Tomkins and Richards. The ground will definantly feel like home if we win infront of a full house all cherry and white with flags waving and fans chanting! I can't wait.
I am pretty optimistic of a sell-out now due to Leeds sales at this time last year and as people have said we do buy tickets pretty slowly. The run up to the game should see thousands trying to get hold of them. I would love to be walking towards the ground on match day over the bridge and get asked if I need a ticket by a few touts, that would be fantastic!
