The Hardaker rumours seem to be picking up on twitter, I've even seen some suggesting Leeds are having money problems :-/ can't see it being true and also can't understand the signing, where would we play him? Bowen at fullback, Goulding and thornley in the centres, does he play wing? If we have signed him I hope it's not to play in the centre and shove Thornley on the wing.

Leeds surely can't be short of money, they have the largest turnover of any SL club.
He may have upset people but I think IL has upset Hetherington more than Hardaker ever will.

My natural reaction to these rumours was what a load of rubbish. However I'm becoming ever more concerned about the rumour gathering momentum. The thought of Leeds letting Zak go to you guys is beyond stupid, and sounds like hell for a Leeds fan. You would be getting one hell of a player and would be a disaster for Leeds.

There does seem to be some rumours surrounding Zak but I think if Leeds do let him go they won't sell him to Wigan. Hetherington would rather on his hands and clap than deal with us.

Don't know the truth about any of this. If the lad does have personal issues I do hope he resolves them soon and sort out this stalling of his very good Rugby career so far.

Regarding Logan, when he did the 80 mins v Warrington away and Hull FC at home I thought he was very good.
In the Hull game his stats said he made 48 tackles. That's some shift he put in that night. I'd stick with Logan, only 20 or so and a lot of Rugby in front of him.

Leeds probably wouldn't deal with Wigan but if Hardaker did become available there aren't many clubs in a better position then Wigan to move for him on a financial and reputation front.

By all accounts we've had the best part of a million quid come through the door in transfer fees with only reasonable money going out for Bateman and Clubb. The club has also said it has room to move on the salary cap front (although that was before Bateman) so you never know.

I would be stunned if a move for Hardaker ever came off but stranger things have happened.
