why all this talk about Feka ? Surely from what we have of Powell, he is going to the impact prop we are talking about. Once he has a full pre-season to build up his stamina, I think he'll fill that role more than adequately.

Kafusi would have been a great signing for us,28 year old ex Kangaroo and origin player that has lost his way a little,i have no doubt Sean would have got him firing again and I think Anderson will.

Perhaps people are forgetting about that Challenge Cup semi-final against Warrington.

The one were Noble refused to take Feka off and where Warrington refused to stop running at him!

I just get the feeling they're waiting to see what happens with London. If they fold we get Clubb for free whereas at the minute it looks like we'll have to pay a fee.

It's surely only a small fee anyway but Lenagan won't throw money away (and rightfully so).

You could be right - we are certainly waiting for something.

Its also a bit strange with Lauaki too - is there something going on with him that we don't yet know about?

These issues aside I still think that we will have one eye on the World Cup to see who emerges during the competition.

We should certainly have an eye on the World Cup. There's bound to be some good talent playing for Fiji, PNG, Samoa etc that we may be able to get in.
