The only way i'd want the club to offer him any sort of future would be if he agreed to go on some sort of rehibilitation course and agreed to be tested by the club on a random basis for the rest of his career(after his ban).
Unless he could prove he's totally clear of it i'd sack him and wouldn't offer him any route back and nor should any other club.
Do not agree with your post here, he should be sacked and also told he will NEVER play for this club again.
These guys are role models for kids , and also proffesionals , he should be made an example off, and the club should show a zero tolerance for any kind of drug issue.
