I do rate the lad but now the other teams know what to expect and this week is a big step up in class from that pile o pooh you destroyed last week.
FWIW what i've seen of him he does look quality but don't you fickle wigan lot start getting on his case when the team aren't performing or don't win a trophy

Hock was great for you against bradford but as yet he's to prove his worth over a full season IF he could do that and keep his head straight then you would have a debateable point re-him v ali and jjb.
I think Hock had/has the potential but not the consistency or temprement.
Maybe this season he will prove any doubter's wrong but 4 games into the season i'd still take Ali and Jjb over him any day of the week.

It doesn't matter what good they did. The fact that he chose them is all that matters re: this argument. Otherwise you have to say the same for all the Leeds players who featured. Let's start with JJB, Sinfield, Peacock, McGuire, Burrows, Senior...You want me to go on?

This week is another step up for him,he will meet a completely different challenge and quality of opponent.
Even if he doesn't play well it doesn't mean i don't rate him but don't get giddy and hail him the saviour of wigan and england RL just yet!
The early signs are very good but don't put too much expectation the lad.
