We seem to be doing that a lot these days, expressing interest on potential Warrington signings. $$$

They should be 2 good signings for Warrington to add to more seemingly good signings in the past but it’s not really working out for them.
As you have said I feel we are in a strong position and Vaughan is maybe taking on a risk we don’t need to take, especially when you factor in our props are pretty young so you would think should be stronger next season.

Noticed that and thought exactly the same. I recall a similar highlights reel being put in prior to his move here.

To be expected, I think most people would be surprised if Wigan managed to keep him.

Still young and no young family to consider which makes the decision much easier for him.

And no emotional ties to us either, so can’t really complain. We will have done to us what we did to London. I’d like to think we can keep him for this current contract though and he’ll be here until the end of next season.

I hope so too.

Be interesting to see which club he goes too, he seems like the kind of person with his head screwed on so no doubt he will look to join a club that suits his lifestyle and can also develop him as a player.

Just hope we can tie some of our other young players down long term now.

There’s certainly going to be some work to do again. I am hopeful KPP will be here for 2023 though but Hardaker gone, Bibby going and probably French and Leuluai following them leaves us needing a few signings. I wouldn’t be against Isa being moved on also if he could get fixed up. If that all happened we’d need a winger, a centre and a third halfback as a minimum. I’d also like a quality starting prop but the club may feel they need 2 centres (they definitely will if KPP goes).

I think this was discussed on here and got a mixed response but with what we need and looking at who could be available, I’d not be against getting Ratchford if the money was right. I’d still want another starting centre but to have him in the squad covering fullback, centre and the halves for a season or two wouldn’t be bad business IMO, simply because of what we need and us being inexperienced in certain areas.
