Am I right in thinking now that Lockers has completed ten years at Wigan come season end, that any future years at Wigan, only half his salary will register on the cap?

The money we got for Joel is looking less and less worth it imo.

For me he was the natural successor to SOL at 13 and as the skipper also.

Many people forget the season Joel 'announced' himself as a SL threat and how he did it in Lockers absence from Lf.

Joel was a massive loss as would be our leader.

Greg Eden for the Giants looks a good player, as does Daryl Clark for Cas.

I think Larne Patrick's up there with Lee Mossop as one of the best young British forwards in the game.

Madge was sort of hinting at Lockers heading over to Oz in his video message on Tuesday night. Showing him the view and saying things like 'it's a long flight, but it's worth it' as seemingly his wife is scared of flying. In her words when asked about Oz......................'no thank you'

O'Loughlin would be a huge loss and a far bigger loss than anyone else in the squad could be. He is very underated by some and is a great player and leader and I always thought, or maybe just presumed, that he would be the backbone of our team for some time yet. We have got some good young forwards coming through but none have the all round Loose Forward game that O'Loughlin has, particulalry his playmaking and vision, and our attack would lose a lot. I can totally understand if he wants to give the NRL a go but and we would miss him badly, if this is true, imo
