I can live with that. I’d love to keep him long term but he’s in an extremely tough position and if we get next year from him, that might be the best we can hope for.
Completely agree, I’ll be sad to see him go but hold no animosity towards him for it. He has to make the decision best for him and his family. I’d think the same if it was this year too in all honesty though significantly more disappointed to see him leave.
This is nothing against French at all here but if this is true, are we really going to see the best of him with all this lingering over him? That’s not to suggest he should go now - far from it, but perhaps we’ve also got to take a step back and look at this objectively rather than subjectively.
