I'm not convinced Scurr is big enough to be any more than an average SL prop anyway

Saw some highlights of him earlier and he’d certainly be a rarity across the league. He reminds me of a young Eamon O’Carroll in stature. It would be a big step up when you take in to account his size.

Only in stature. He certainly looked to have more punch from those highlights but he’s about that size by the looks of him (possibly a bit heavier).

According to the Bradford website he weighs in at 101kg, no mention of his height though! I have got to admit he doesn't look very tall. Andy Platt wasn't a big lad but he was a great prop forward as was Steve Pitchford at Leeds.

I've just watched a video of his highlights and it listed him as 5"10. That's the same size as Luke Yates (or at least that's what Google says) and he does alright for himself.

My concern wouldn't be his size, more his age. It would be another decent prospect added to a squad that's packed full of decent prospects. At some point we have to have an eye on the here. Prospects are great, but big clubs should have prospects and current success. It shouldn't be one or the other.

He’s got weight on him that’s for sure. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover I suppose. We’ve had plenty of props who have been built like an adonis but have run to the weight of an under 12’s player. I don’t think we’ve been linked with the lad anyway but it certainly seems like somebody will take a punt eventually.
