I agree, I'd rather wait until the right player came along. A swap of Hardaker for Jake Wardle or someone of that stature would be fine IMO.

That would be the best bit of business the club has done in a long time.

Wardle transforms our outside backs.

Giants however would be insane to go for it.

Half and a centre if Zak leaves is a must. A motivated committed Joey Leyluai would have a massive impact on our backline and team. Wardle looks like a very good player can't see that happening soon. If we get these possible two signings right it makes a massive difference to how our team looks and our chances.

I've explained how the reserve grade will look, and Wigan will have enough players to compete well in all three grades. I mean you wouldn't think from your remarks that they have WON nine of the last eleven academy championships.

Out of those reserves I’ve only heard of Hurrell and Amor. That proves Rougue’s point, cheers.

You mean you have never heard of Jamie Bell? Curious.

There’s lots of players in that Saints reserves team with 10+ games experience (Davies, Simm, Norman, Foster, Wingfield) albeit a lot of that has come from duel reg with Leigh/ Salford last year. It’s a shame we loaned ASmith to Leigh for 2022 as it would have rounded the group nicely but I do understand he’s likely too good to be kicking around our reserves team.
