I think the problem is though mate, he would’ve had a career and he knows that. He’s always had that safety net of his talent getting him another club, whatever he gets up to and here he is again, coming out of a situation in what he will personally see as a better position.
I recall when we signed him and I didn’t want him but in fairness to him, he got his head down and some respect for him built up over time. I think me, like many others, has lost that now but I don’t think we’ll lose any sleep over him. The club lost itself for a while regards signings like him and it feels like he’s the last player we had who could put us under a cloud. That risk has gone now and that’s a relief.
