It's always the case sadly.
The unpredictability is ridiculously predictable.
We had it with Martin Gleeson, with Gareth Hock, with Sean Long as an assistant coach (in which capacity he didn't last a week!!!) and it's only a matter of time with Hardaker. Again.
Once a bad lad always a bad lad, I'm afraid. You can keep on trying to trust them, you can give them chance after chance to live the life that for so many others can only be a distant dream, and they'll always repay you with trouble.
We need to let him go. Not on his terms, but on ours. I'm way past the stage now where yobs should be allowed to call the shots. Good player though he is, he's too much of a liability. Even if he sits in the stand for a year, I don't care. Someone pays for him, or he doesn't play. And he doesn't play for Wigan again until he's proved that he's committed. And after the recent rash of stories, that's going to take some doing.
Just about had it with absolute nobodies trying to exercise leverage over us.
