That's a good call IMO. He wanted to come to Wigan with Matty Smith a few years back, but Wigan weren't keen at that time and took Blake Green.

He's just launched all the stuff for his testimonial year, so I'd say it's very unlikely.

I’d consider Stef Ratchford to be a must have signing but I cannot see it happening. Funnily enough he was at a Sportsman’s dinner not too long ago with Wane and Wane was talking about how he tried to sign him for Wigan on multiple occasions.

It’s next to impossible to get players out of Warrington that they want to keep. They rarely seem to make room on the cap by promoting from within and unless a player is deemed surplus to requirements it’s difficult to see how you can make it happen.

He would be ideal I agree.

Wire have announced that they will play a pre season game v Wigan for Ratchfords testimonial early in the hew year. I wish it was next week.

Shaun Wane has tried to sign him 3 times for Wigan before and has been turned down each time.

Would be a great signing if 4th time lucky. Can’t see it this season
